Corinne wasn’t able to attend her high school’s senior prom. So hospital staff brought prom to her, including a limo ride, prom dress, and music. HUMANKIND
Bass thought she would miss all the milestones of her senior year of high school since her immune system isn’t strong enough yet for her to go to school. That’s when the staff at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital put together a plan to bring prom to her.
“Today was amazing. I think that they went beyond my expectations of what I thought it was going to be,” she said.
Bass said it was more fun than the junior prom she attended at her school, mostly because of the caregivers who took the time to make her feel so special.
